General Site - COVID-19 (General Assessment)

We identified the following hazards
  1. Contamination of surfaces with the virus
  2. Coughing/sneezing
  3. Close proximity between persons
We identified the following risks
  1. Contraction of disease
  2. Transmission of disease
  3. Interruption of business operation
We identified the following persons at risk
  1. Staff
  2. Guests
  3. Holiday home owners
  4. Contractors/subcontractors
  5. Visitors
  6. Caravan sales partners
  7. Local authority officials (EHO etc.)
We have put the following hazard controls in place
  1. Staff are made aware of risks and prevention measures (training given and recorded)
  2. Each member of staff is to record their temperature in the file provided using a contact-free infrared thermometer prior to the commencement of work. IPA 70% alcohol wipes are provided to sanitise the thermometer after usage.
  3. General Manager, Philip Heede, has more detailed knowledge and training surrounding coronavirus
  4. Team members are instructed in safe working procedures, such as social distancing and hand sanitizing procedures
  5. Written procedures are in place for unwell team members
  6. Communication has been established between team members and management to support social distancing measures
  7. Guests are provided with information, guidance, and rules related to coronavirus prior to arrival on park
  8. Guests are required to confirm pre-arrival and on arrival that nobody in the party has had symptoms of coronavirus in the past 14 days
  9. Guests are required to inform us upon departure if anyone in the party has had symptoms of coronavirus during their stay
  10. Guests are requested to leave their accommodation ventilated upon departure
  11. Guests are requested to dispose of their refuse in the appropriate receptacles upon departure
  12. Anybody on site is requested to inform management if they experience symptoms of coronavirus, which will be dealt with in accordance with current government guidelines
  13. Adequate supplies of PPE are kept in stock, including hand sanitizer, disposable gloves, disposable aprons, disposable cloths, disposable mop heads, yellow bin bags, and personal cloth face coverings
  14. Team members are provided with all necessary PPE and are instructed on its appropriate wear
  15. Access to the park can be controlled/suspended if necessary by gate closure
  16. Adequate signage is in place to remind all persons on site of the social distancing and handwashing guidelines
  17. Signage is in place on refuse disposal bins to remind persons to wash their hands and reduce the amount of surfaces they touch
  18. Procedures are in place to minimise face-to-face contact between team members, guests, and owners
  19. A new one way vehicle system is in place in Valley Way to control the flow of vehicles at check-in/check-out
  20. Procedures are in place that detail the places on park that will be cleaned/decontaminated and the frequency with which this will be carried out
  21. No social group activities are to be arranged or held on park
  22. There is a schedule in place for checking essential park infrastructure prior to opening, including electrical safety, gas safety, and legionella
  23. Third party contractors and suppliers are advised on safe working practices prior to commencing tasks and are asked to register their attendance
  24. Guests are regularly updated on measures to manage the coronavirus outbreak using official government sources
  25. Public hand sanitizing points are available outside the main complex, check-in point, adventure playground, launderette, swings, and dog walking area
  26. Hand sanitizing facilities are scheduled to be refilled at regular intervals with at least 60% alcohol-based gel
  27. Team members who need to have contact with guests/owners (e.g. maintenance jobs, housekeeping jobs) are required to maintain social distancing of at least 1 metre as per current government guidelines, or guests will be asked to vacate their accommodation prior to tasks being carried out
  28. Team members are instructed not to share vehicles and vehicle surfaces are sanitized between each user
  29. Unit V120A has been removed from the letting fleet as a precautionary measure to be available as an isolation area if any team member has symptoms of coronavirus
  30. Team members are instructed to sanitise shared surfaces in staff rooms, break areas, and staff kitchens at the end of each day
  31. Symptomatic and/or diagnosed guests, owners, or staff are instructed to self-isolate at home
  32. Disposable bin liners are provided to guests
  33. Staff are instructed on the safe disposal of contaminated waste (yellow bin liners)
  34. Contactless/device payment is mandated
