Kents Cavern is the award winning prehistoric caves in the heart of the English Riviera Geopark. The cave has a remarkable record of ancient human occupation stretching back over 500,000 years. Its most important artefact is a human jawbone dated at 41,000 years old; Britain’s oldest human bone.
Tours around the cave are led by entertaining guides who bring the incredible story of the cave’s Ice Age history back to life. Open all year, with lots of special events including our summer evening Ghost Tour.
